Fiberagar® is pure high quality agar-agar obtained solely from Gelidium genera red seaweed by traditional methods. It forms a transparent vegetable gelatin rich in dietary soluble fiber and minerals, and it is compatible with all vegetarian applications. It is used for thickening, setting and gelling foods without affecting flavor with great gelling power, 10 times higher than animal origin gelatins.

Culinary use is recorded from at least 300 years ago in the Far East, where its dietetic properties have long been appreciated.
